WHO IS IT FOR?
Course designed for actors and actresses with a basic training
and little time during the week.
Also ideal for those who want to access Italian or foreign academies
or prepare for the audiovisual market.
ARE THE LESSONS THEORETICAL?
The M.I.A. is primarily hands-on.
It consists of 6 intensive weekends, all focused on on-camera work.
In each session, every participant films at least one scene, developing cinematic awareness, emotional truth, and technical mastery.
IS THE VIDEO MATERIAL USABLE?
All scenes shot during the MIA will be delivered
in high quality and already post-produced (audio and video included).
At the end of the course you will be able to use them for your showreel and online promotion.
IN WHICH LANGUAGE WILL THE LESSONS BE HELD?
The lessons can be taken in the three languages provided for by the program:
Italian, English and Spanish.
Coach Armando Di Lillo will always be present at every lesson to make the most of the international weekends dedicated to Acting in English and Acting in Spanish
with native speaking coaches.

The course will start with a minimum number of participants of 8 people.
If the minimum number is not reached, it will be possible to evaluate whether to reduce the total number of hours and adjust them to the number of people registered.

PERSPECTIVE

Meet international coaches every month and explore the differences between acting in the UK, the US, and Spain.
At the end of the course, the top-performing participant will be awarded a full scholarship for one week of individual training in Scotland, in partnership with Acting Coach Scotland. Flight and course fees included.

British-born actor, director, and acting coach trained in the UK with a BA (Hons) in Drama (Liverpool John Moores University) and a specialization in Physical Theatre (Hope Street Theatre). He has performed in various professional productions throughout England and Scotland with prestigious theatre companies. His coaching practice focuses on physical technique, voice, accents, and character construction. He currently practices as an acting coach in the United Kingdom.

Director, director of photography and operator, he works and lives in Madrid where he also teaches at prestigious academies such as Unión de Actores, La Base y Arte and la Central de Cine.

A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and the Lee Strasberg Institute, he trained as a director with Anatoli Vassiliev.
He has collaborated with great names in theatre, cinema and television, including Alan Bates, Kenneth Branagh, Derek Jacobi, Rosamund Pike and Tom Hardy.
He developed the Barr & Kahn System, a method that combines the teachings of Tony Barr, Lesly Kahn, Vasili Skorik, Anatoli Vassiliev, Sandford Meisner and Stella Adler.
