MIA Teen was designed for young people aged 14 to 17 who want to approach the world of acting professionally with a particular focus on Acting for Camera. Structured as a weekend, it allows the perfect combination of school activities and training experience.
Through a dynamic and lively program, the foundations of knowledge of cinematic interpretation will be laid using the American technique Practical Aesthetics .
Founded in the 1980s by playwright David Mamet and actor William H. Macy,
Practical Aesthetics is a powerful tool for achieving emotional immediacy, physical involvement, and clarity of scene action.
A technique suitable for both people with previous training experience,
both to those who are approaching acting for the first time.
The aim of the MIA Teen is also to allow training
in front of the camera with dialogue scenes.
The program is divided into 2 Intensive Meetings that will take place during the weekends and that will be totally practical . In each meeting, in fact, at least one dialogue scene per participant will be filmed.
All the clips filmed will be made with professional quality standards and delivered to the participants.
Included in the cost is the delivery of the unedited video material
and unedited professional audio.
For those who will come of age by December 2025
and will want to continue their professional training,
there will also be the possibility of accessing the MIA Adulti classes in Rome or Milan with an exclusive discount.
The course will start with a minimum number of participants of 4 people.
If the minimum number is not reached, it will be possible to evaluate whether to reduce the total number of hours and adjust them to the number of people registered.
Why is it unique?
The winning card of MIA by Armando Di Lillo Acting Studio is its international approach and the possibility of coming into contact and working with foreign realities.
Furthermore, constant training with the camera allows the participating actor/actress to become completely familiar with the medium and use their acting tool in its entirety, with fewer inhibitions, doubts and with greater awareness.
Armando Di Lillo International Acting Studio collaborates
with Acting Coach Scotland from Glasgow, Scotland.
In fact, for those who will come of age and choose to participate in the MIA Adult classes in Rome or Milan ,
there will be the chance to win an exclusive scholarship for a free training experience abroad.
