Intensive Master Class in Cinematic Acting with American Technique Practical Aesthetics
The program
Intensive training
Starting from an excerpt, we will tackle the analysis of the text with the innovative Practical Aesthetics, an acting technique that Armando Di Lillo was the first to bring to Italy. Through listening/reaction exercises, we will explore the world of imaginary circumstances and then conclude the Masterclass with the video recording of the assigned scenes. An intensive awareness path that covers every useful aspect of acting preparation, especially in situations with little time available (auditions, small roles on set, etc.).
All video material shot during the Masterclass will be delivered and a light audio/video post-production will also be carried out on the selected clips, included in the cost.

Who is it for?
An inclusive Master Class
The Master Class "From Text to Camera" is accessible both to people who are new to acting and want to learn an innovative technique such as Practical Aesthetics, practical and fast to improve their interpretative skills, and to professionals in the sector who want to increase their knowledge and compare more acting methods, in order to have a wider choice and freedom at work.
The participants will be paired for the creation of the scenes in such a way as to be able to have a similar level of preparation/experience and make the work more fluid and functional.
The filmed dialogue scenes will be delivered to the participants.
From text analysis to set experience
Hours of practice and exercises to become familiar with the cinematographic medium
The first day will focus on getting to know the group and analyzing the texts that will be proposed to the participants before the start of the Master Class.
We will proceed with the first experiments and exercises to explore the world of imaginary circumstances. A work that will be resumed during the following days, mainly used to rehearse the assigned scenes and become familiar with rhythm, physicality of the actor/actress, use of emotion, bond with the scene partner and technical notions on cinematic acting.
We will then dedicate ourselves to recording the scenes analyzed and tested during the previous sessions.

The Masterclasses organized by Armando Di Lillo Acting Studio have a single and fixed cost
regardless of the city in which they take place.
The two cameras used to film during the Masterclass are a Black Magic 6k and an Osmo Pocket 3.
For the Masterclasses organized by Armando Di Lillo Acting Studio, the presence of a sound engineer is required.
The cost of the Masterclasses organized by Armando Di Lillo Acting Studio is €240 including all materials, handouts, days of work, films and basic audio and video post-production on the clip chosen to be used.
A discount is reserved for those who have already participated in previous Masterclasses or are already students of the Studio.
The cost of the Masterclass - in such cases - is €200.
The payment of the registration fee must be made only by bank transfer,
by releasing your data for the issuing of the invoice.
